Article published in the Langley Advance newspaper on September 15, 1982 entitled: "Ringette coaches on all-star teams." The article reports the selection of several local ringette coaches who have been selected to provincial all-star teams who will compete at the fifth annual Canadian Ringette Championships being held in Sherwood Park, Alberta in spring 1983.
The coaches include Fred Boyd from Aldergrove who will coach the B.C. Deb team composed of players aged 18 and over. Jim Wright from Aldergrove will coach the 13 and 14 year old players on the Junior Belle team and Keith Corney who coached for Langley Ringette will coach the Belles, which has 15 to 17 year old players.
As well the article suggests that interested players who have not yet registered for ringette should contact Gail Chenier or Aldergrove ringette's Wendy Premack. A used equipment sale and exchange will take place at the Aldergrove arena on September 25th.
