Parent's day is a showcase of ringette where the 14 teams will play a 20 minute game each for the benefit of the spectators and parents in attendance. Guests have been invited from the Lower Mainland.
Trudy Cuthbert, the president, has invited guests who have shown interest so they can see how ringette is played. The event includes the Aldergrove High School band, while Trevor Beggs, chairman of the Langley Recreation Commission acts as emcee.
The newspaper article also advertises the upcoming coaching, referee and officials clinic on March 15th from 5 to 6pm and March 16 from 9 to 5pm. Chairman of the Ontario Ringette Association, Bob Sugden and Howard Peace, president of Ontario Ringette will be the instructors at the clinic.
