The article is part of a special section dedicated to the 1992 Canadian Ringette Championships hosted by Port Coquitlam, April 6 - 11. The article includes a photograph of Bev Felske cheering on her team.

The article highlight's Bev Felske's contribution to the sport of ringette in BC, highlighting the strength of the Port Coquitlam ringette association as the largest association in the province.

Felske played a key role in the sport's development, starting the first Port Coquitlam ringette association with 64 girls registered. She went on to create the first provincial championship in 1976 and eventually became President of BC Ringette and later coach.

Bev imagines a day when ringette is played at the Olympics: "I hope one day to go and watch my granddaughters playing at the Olympics. If (the day) comes, I will be there for the first game."</text>
