Hot Shots too hot for Hi-Lo

Article in the Langley Advance newspaper published December 1, 1982 called "Hot Shots too hot for Hi-Lo." The article includes a photograph of a player with a ring about to shoot on the goalie. The photograph caption reads: "Kim Keffer, a petite player for the Riv-Tow in the Langley Ringette Association, proved adept with the ring in a game against Port Coquitlam's M and R Sports at the Civic Centre Saturday. Keffer scored twice but her team wound up losing 7-4."

In petites, the North Shore Winter Club Hot Shots beat Hi-Lo Foods 8-4 on November 27th. Tara Sutherland scored three of Langley's goals with Leslie Hagen scoring one. Later that evening, Hi-Lo beat the Pack Rats from West Vancouver 11-3. Hagen scored four goals and McCallum and Amber Freund each scored three. Leslie Harker scored one.

In another game, the Langley Powder Puffs were outscored 7 to 3 by the Aldergrove Ringette Association's belle team. Laura Erickson scored two goals for Langley while Mary Anne Walry scored one.

Langley's tween B team lost to the K.M.A Blade Runners 7 to 4.
